High Intensity Football was founded in 2014 by brothers John and Charlie Taumoepeau in San Diego. John played Linebacker at the University of Oregon. Charlie played at USD. Together, they built something that started with 10 kids and grew to 100+ athletes across multiple teams.
We run flag football for all ages and a competitive High School 7-on-7 program — developing athletes from youth through high school and getting them ready to compete at the next level. What began as a flag football team quickly became one of the top programs in the country. High Intensity has qualified for Nationals every year since 2015 — competing nationally in the NFL Flag Pro Bowl Nationals, the HC Athletics National Championship Circuit, and now the Battle Flag Football circuit.
